Manifold Air Temperature Sensor
Currawong’s manifold air temperature sensor is a lightweight and robust sensor which measures the temperature of the air inside the intake manifold. The sensor is based on the KTY83 silicon resistive element chip. This sensor has a positive temperature coefficient of resistance with a typical resistance of 950 ohms at 20°C and 2500 ohms at 175°C.
Currawong offers a range of lengths and connector types to meet the requirements of most engine installations.
